Re: Kirstin, Kristin etc

I prefer Kristen to any of these names, though I do think that Kirstin is gorgeous.
Kirsty
I pronounce Kirstin as "KUR-stin".
Kirstin is my favorite spelling of this name, however, I also like Kirsten.
I prefer Kristie to Kristy, as Kristy reminds me of the word "crusty".
I prefer the spelling Kristen to Kristin.
Out of these options, I prefer Kirsty / Kirstie to Kristy / Kristie, though I really enjoy Kirsty.
I have met three women named Kristen; I went to middle and high school with one (who is my age, and I've also attended a college class with her), I worked with one born in 1989, and I had a teacher whose first name was Kristen (born in 1979). I know of a girl named Kirstin (who is a year younger than me) and a lady named Kirsty. All of these women were from South Carolina, except for one Kristen (originally) from Tennessee, the teacher (originally) from Vermont, and Kirsty (originally) from Scotland.
I think these names are fairly nice.
They don't seem very dated to me at all, due to my personal experiences. Well, maybe from the 1970s to the 2000s, according to the age-range of women that I know.
