Jennifer
Let's talk about Jennifer. I'm an 80s baby so it was popular growing up. I used to dislike it BUT now I appreciate it and like it. Not big on the "fer" sound.

If I could wave a magic wand and make any name less popular it would be Jennifer
It is way overused. I prefer Jenuffa, Minver or Nilaphar. This is just a very boring name and I really dislike Jen.
Not big on 'fer' either, that's why I like Jenna more.
I find it bland, even without it feeling dated.
Jennifer has a lovely sound... and entirely too many parents in the 60s, 70s, and 80s agreed. :-PI even knew a few Jennifers in high school, and we were all born in the 90s. Like Mary, Jennifer needs a good long rest because it's a bit tired.
I have always thought that Jennifer was a gorgeous name. Honestly, I'd name a daughter as Jennifer. A similar name that I absolutely love is Jenna (which is more common among my age group, yet there are also Jennifer's of course!). There's also Jennica, which I actually prefer to both Jennifer and Jenna.

I think Jenna is better than Jennifer!
I've always loved Jennifer, and would gladly use it. Jenny is fine as a nn.
Love it
I like how sprightly it is, but I can’t divorce it from its context as one of the most popular names for decades. It’s so boring!
It’s a fine name, but I don’t care for it.
My English name is Jennifer and I am 15 years old. I changed after becoming a BtN user. Personally, I think it's a really cool name.
I love Jennifer. I probably wouldn't use it due to the datedness, but I like both Jen and Jenny as nicknames and Jennifer seems to suit a wide variety of ages well, where some names just look add at certain stages.
I actually like it, but mainly with the nn Jenn. My mom was born in 81, and I forget which Jenn was which in her stories. Still pretty. I don’t love the “fer” sound either.
I am also an 80s baby and I love Jennifer. For me it was more of a mum name then so most likely women born in the 50s and 60s. I would however love to use it now but my husband says no.
