I've never seen Beverly used here in South Africa; I've known a few Beverley people. I don't like it enough to consider using it at all, but I don't dislike it either, which is quite surprising in view of one particular Beverley who married a very good friend and messed him around seriously. Similarly, Kimberley always ends in -ey here, though I've never seen it as a human name. It is the name of a diamond-mining town which has run out of diamonds.
