Kaitlyn
Do you like this spelling? Why or why not?It is growing on me.If you wanted to name your daughter kate-lynn, which spelling would you pick? Which is your least favorite?

It's alright. I think it's very 90's/2000's. I wouldn't be surprised to see it on a younger kid exactly, but it seems more dated than Kaitlin, Caitlin, and even Katelyn.
Kaitlyn is a really pretty name and spelling! If I were to choose a spelling for this name, I'd go with Katelyn, Catelyn, or Kaitlyn. My least favorite that I've ever encountered (on a 4 year old that my mom was going to teach) is...wait for it...Kviiiln.
That is terrible, I've read of one before, uggh
Kaitlyn is my favourite spelling. It's modern but familiar.I would pick Katelyn as a second choice, and then Kateline, which is a modern French form. I despise Katlyn as a spelling - it looks like it should be pronounced differently.
-lyn endings are trite and dated - think Marilyn and Carolyn. I'd prefer Kathleen, and that's what I might just name a daughter.
The spelling is fine. It's a pretty popular one, so it doesn't really stand out, along with the name itself, which is overused and, as I find it, dull and at this point outdated. Kaitlyn is like Ashley and Emily in the sense that people use it sarcastically to describe a basic white girl.
Personally, if I had to, I would choose either Katelyn, because I prefer Kate to Kait, or Caitlin, because it's the original.
This wouldn't be my first choice, but I don't HATE it. It's much better than the ones with two Ns.Caitlin > Katelyn > Kaitlin > Catelyn > Caitlyn > Kaitlyn > Katelynn > Kaitlynn

I like it. I prefer the spelling Kaitlyn, but I have no idea why. I know perfectly well that Caitlin is the authentic original spelling, but it's the same deal as with Michaela; I don't like that spelling and prefer Makayla or Mikayla.I don't like it quite well enough to use it, and since I despise the nn Katie I would never risk the possibility of anyone using it.
Kaitlyn does not bother me, I just don't find -lyn spellings attractive. -Lin and -len look softer. I would pick Caitlin because it looks the prettiest and is the least common. Also, I prefer Ai's to A's with silent E's. My least favorite would be Keightlyn maybe? For whatever reason I like Keighley...

I don't like the kait spelling, prefer Katelyn
Caitlin. Anything else is bad.
