Preston or Lincoln?

Replies

I much prefer the name Preston; it sounds very handsome and stately. I don't care for the name Lincoln at all.
I prefer Lincoln, though it does immediately bring to mind Abraham Lincoln for me, and I don't like it when names have such a direct association. Preston is the name of a city in the north of England, and it's not too far from where I live. seeing as I've been to Preston several times and know quite a few people who live there, I would find it odd to meet someone whose first name was Preston.
Lincoln if I have to choose but I dislike both.
Dislike both, but Lincoln is at least better.
Lincoln.
Preston is okay but kinda has a y2k preppy vibe ?? It's like Bryce, Spencer, Cameron, and Chase.
I don't love the name Lincoln, but I think Link has some retro style appeal. It's like Frank, Hank, Chuck, and Dick, but cooler.
Lincoln.
Preston sounds like some WASPY ivy league college guy who only got into school because of daddy's money. He's friends with Chad and Brock.
I prefer Lincoln due to the Abraham Lincoln connection.
I hate Lincoln a lot, so Preston I guess.
Lincoln. I can see the charm.Preston is ugh.
I like Lincoln better. Preston is ok but it’s not a name I would consider using.
Lincoln
I like Lincoln better. Preston sounds heavy and doesn't have any appealing nickname options that I can think of anyway.
I like Lincoln more. I think it ages better. I also really like the nickname "Link".
Preston, easily.
Dang, I thought more people would prefer Preston.
