Gregory? WDYT?
Last night I was talking to my husband about names, a subject he cares NOTHING about. He finally said that he liked the name Zebidiah, (sp?) then when I kept saying, "are you serious" a hundred times, he said he was just joking, so I wasn't sure if he was kidding or not. Then he finally said that he likes the name Gregory. WDYT?
It isn't exactly my style (Piper, Margo, Brent, Rhett, etc) but I could live with it. It has the same feeling as Wesley, which is a favorite of mine. So do you like Gregory, with the nn Greg?
BTW, we aren't expecting, just talking about names for waaay future children.

I prefer just Gregg ... although there was a really dorky Greig (pronounced "greg") in my high school. My favourite form is probably Gregor (GREG-ur) which is increasingly growing on me ...

I like the name Gregory its a nice classic masculine name that is a bit underused at the moment but its a name i personally would more likely use as a middle name

I really like Gregory. I think you are right that it has the same feeling as Wesley and I think that Gregory and Wesley would make a great sibling set. I like Gregory because I like the way it sounds and I like that Saint Gregory is the patron saint of music. That may mean nothing to you if you are not Catholic, but that's personally why I like it. I think that it is a great name ... but I dislike the nn Greg.
