WDYT?
What do you think of Calypso (for a girl)? In Greek, it means "she who hides". Calypso is the goddess of renowned beauty, but it's also a dance move...

It's kind of exotic, astronomical and cool. It's not my style of name but I like it over other goddess names like Artemis, Aphrodite or Alexandra.
I think it sounds beautiful, nymphs always have the prettiest names. The meaning fits well with its sort of mysterious sound (in my opinion). That being said, I do think it might be a bit much for a human, but I guess if people can name their kids Athena, why not Calypso?
(also, ive never heard of the dance move, but that could be just me)

Strictly for Harry Belafonte fans. Of which I am one, but I'd rather use Harriet.
Don't like it as a name
Always liked Calypso, but not necessarily for a human.
That makes sense. It would make a great name for a pet snake, possibly.
Awkward and stumbling. Monstrous sounding. It's far too clumpy imo.
