lol My cat's "Full name" is Rosamund Opal Essence Lastname. (but I call her "Rose") I can understand the appeal of giving a cat/pet a ridiculous name. Pets can be a way to use a silly name you like without it socially hurting a person, for instance. Doesn't hurt the pet. So long as their needs are being met and they are healthy and unharmed, they don't care what they are called. The only exception could be for a dog, or similar and if they have a very long name since it might cause confusion. I read once that two syllable names are best for dogs since they hear and process those best. But I could be misremembering. Please rate my "Names I would Use" list & "Backup Favorites" list. Feel free to rate some of my other lists too if you have the time.

I guess this person waste to used a ridiculous names so shy not on a cat. It must've been awkward at the vet's office spelling out the cat's name!
Yes I also feel bad for the vets that have to deal with the spelling of pets name in official paperwork 😓
Lol.it makes no difference to them either
Are you a vet?
My vet is used to ridiculous cat names. Once the name is in the system it stops being a big deal. My cat is Atalanta.
Exactly
