what types of names do you like?
do you have any particular categories of interest in names?
I personally love old people's names on babies. A grouchy little Barbara or Reginald would be adorable (i myself wouldn't name a baby that tho).
I also like a lot of Greek or Greek mythology names, particularly ones ending in -the or -o for girls and -ander for boys
There's A LOT more, but I won't bore you lol, but in general i mostly like classical names
What about you?

For girls I noticed I like most names than include *mar* or *mir* somewhere in it, i.e. Amara, Samara, Damaris, Dagmar, Margaret, Maria, Marjorie, Mariel, Maribel, Mirabel, Amira, Samira, Miriam…
As per BtN's stats, my favorite girl names tend to be English and begin with A, C, M, S, and L and end in A, E, or Y. Most of the names on that list are 4-6 letters long.
For boys, most names are English or Western European. Most names start with A, J, C, or E and end in N, S, or R. Most names are 5-7 letters long.

Icelandic and Old Norse, because they're my heritage.
Also Hebrew and Yiddish names, especially rare religious ones and, for some reason, fruit and food names.

Classic and Biblical
Style-wise, I like long, frilly names.
Origin-wise, I like English, Spanish, French, Greek, and Irish.
Letter-wise, I prefer L, N, S, A, and M in names.

I like numerous name "styles" like classical, traditional, mid-century, Biblical, mythological, vintage, nature names and Shakespearean etc...The only styles that don't really excite me too much are surnames as first names and boys names on girls.
same, I don't think I could pick just one for me!
I love late 20th century names. (ex. Jessica, Ashley) I like the sounds that were popular at the time (ex. starting with C, J, K, M, S, ending with ca, cia, sa, elle for girls) and the bright atmosphere of those names. Maybe I personally the trends and my name tastes these days are completely opposite(?).

I like history-laden names from royalty, literature/Shakespeare, or world mythologies.
all good ones! Shakespearean names can be so lovely
They just seem so magical to me
