Gosh! The only ones I like are May, Juliet and Daphne. Not very helpful, I know.
Pearl
Hazel
Rose
Summer for a name, Autumn for a season
May
Adelaide
Grace
Aurora (because of the lights, not the princess)
Juliet
Athena
Pearl
Violet
Lily
Summer
May
Charlotte
Diana
Jasmine
Juliet
Athena
Pearl or Ruby? (gemstones) - love both but slightly prefer Ruby
Hazel or Violet? (colours) - Hazel
Lily or Rose? (flowers) - Rose, though I do like Lily
Autumn or Summer? (seasons) - Autumn
April or May? (months) - May
Adelaide or Charlotte? (cities) - see I would have called these princesses! Charlotte, because although Adelaide sounds pretty it’s far too city for me.
Diana or Grace? (real life princesses) - Diana
Aurora or Jasmine? (disney princesses) - Jasmine
Juliet or Ophelia? (literary characters) - Juliet
Athena or Daphne? (Greek mythological figures) - not a huge fan of either, maybe Athena
Ruby
Violet
Rose
Summer
May
Adelaide
Grace
Jasmine
Juliet
Athena
Ruby
Violet
Lily
Summer
April
Charlotte
Grace
Aurora
Juliet
Daphne
Ruby sounds more youthful, and I like the red of a ruby more than the white of a pearl.
Violet because I dislike the sound of Hazel.
Oohhh... this is cruel. I'm going with Autumn because its less burning and demanding. Autumn sounds calm and reminds me of the good type of change. Such diversity of leaf colors.
April. I might be biased, but I always thought that May was plain. It's also used frequently as a middle name - that might contribute to its lack of shine. I like names to be "shiner".
This is hard. Charlotte is too popular but I don't like the "laide" sound in Adelaide. Charlotte Adelaide would be a beautiful combination. Or Adelaide Charlotte! I'm going to pick Charlotte. I've always liked it.
I pick Diana. It sounds powerful and royal. Grace sounds like a demand somehow. "Be graceful." Too frail. Also, common, COMMON middle name. That might have put me off too.
Jasmine. I've always like it. The "ror" in Aurora ruins it. I prefer Aura. Still sounds magical and untouchable, but lacks the rough sound I don't like.
Ophelia, although I do like Juliet. I just think Ophelia sounds more dramatic and whimsical.
Athena is powerful and badass. Daphne makes me think of a child because of one character who was one. She was the first Daphne I knew. It also sounds close to "daffy". Daffy Duck. I have no problem with him, but he is a cartoon character whereas a Daphne is a real person. I want to think a human when I see a name for humans.
Great questionnaire!
