I do not like the sound, spelling or association for that child. However, my guilty pleasures are food names that work as cute NNs, like Peanut, Nutmeg, Pepper, Ginger, Honey, Cocoa, etc. Vanilla is kind of pretty. I would have considered those as NNs before Baskyn as a legal name. Why not Robbins or Robin? Robbins could be a surname-first name. It lends itself to Rob and Robby.
