Objectively, does it sound awful? No. But subjectively, it just feels like a fad. It's a ''trindy'' name right now. To me it feels like the McKenzie or the Everly of the moment. And like both these examples, it gets spelled so many ways, it's annoying. Brinlee, Brinleigh, Brynly, Brynlee, etc. I know that as they become adults, I'll be able to guess most Brinley's age in a second.
