Re: What are your thoughts on these names?
Andromeda is pretty and dramatic. I like the space association, the name is fun to say and it's very cool... but it'd probably be a lot to carry around day-to-day as a name. On the other hand, there's so much cool about it, and it has a lot of nickname opportunities.
Zenobia is beautiful, I love it. Just lovely and weird-but-not-too-weird and rare-but-with-history. If it weren't for the nob (knob) right staring there right in the middle (which is not how it's said of course and I ignore anyway fr), I'd say it'd be a gorgeous first name. With that juvenile bullying prospect, I'll continue using it here, there and everywhere in theory, but in reality it might be a middle name choice.
Koda feels very pop culture. I've also come across it multiple times where people claim 'Koda is Russian for 'bear''... don't know why haha. And no it isn't, and it sours me on it a bit. Also it's not difficult to look up what words are in different languages nowadays so I've no idea why people do that. It also makes me think of Kodiak cameras.
Xavion is very lazy-sci-fi. Its the name of a background character in a film from 1984 set on a spaceship in 2018. A moment of silence for our lost space-faring dreams please.
Chiamaka is pretty cool. Chi would be a sweet nickname, but there's options. Probably not a name I would use unless I had a kid with a partner with Igbo heritage, but if I saw it out and about I'd think it a pretty solid name.
Hendrix is not my style. It's just fan-ish. If I saw it I'd think the parents were massive Jimmy Hendrix fans and eh, you do you, but that isn't my scene personally so I wouldn't click with it. I don't like the sound or look.
Zephyr is possibly on that ship with Xavion. Something about it is trying too hard too. In theory it's fine, throw it in a name combo all you like, but if I saw it in a sci fi film I'd roll my eyes and if I heard it on a kid I'd probably roll my eyes harder. It's a perfectly decent name but something about it is just trying too hard. Funnily enough, I love Zephyrine a hell of a lot.
Lura isn't a pretty sound at all. Loo-rah. Lyu-rah? Nope. Also very close to the words 'lure' and 'lurid'. Alternatives - Luna is dull, dry and played out as all hell, nope, avoid at all costs. Lula is cute but also very Americana. Luka is totally a bloke and I dislike all Luke-associated names. Lyra is pretty but a bit too trendy, still a lovely name. Lera is pretty, prettier than Valeria, but limited in its usability. Lira is an obsolete currency and why go Lira when you've got Lyra or Lera (depending on how you say these respective names). Lara is freaking gorgeous and the best out of the bunch, that's the one, it's very simple but very pretty... why go for Lura when Lara is brighter, sparklier, feistier and literally right there?

Lura reminds me of the word allure so that's why I like it!
