Which middle: Juliet or violet??
First name will either be Sophie or Sophia/Sofia.
Last name is brown.Which do you think is prettier/flows better?
Does violet clash with last name?

Replies

I'd go with Sophie Juliet Brown.

I agree that Sophia Brown sounds more interesting than Sophie Brown. Sophia Juliet Brown "Sophie" would be lovely. You get everything you want, that way (in terms of agonizing over Sophia or Sophie at least)
Now that I think about it, I have to agree with Delphi_Blue on this; I dislike "Violet Brown," since both are colors. My vote still goes for Sophie Juliet, because it's such a gorgeous name (also, because you said that you see your daughter as a Sophie).
Violet is lovely but Violet Brown is majorly cringe.Sophie/Sophia/Sofia Juliet all sound good.
Sophie Juliet is a beauty.
I’d go with Sophia Juliet. Sophie Brown sounds dull, and although middle names aren’t often used, Violet Brown is weird.
Violet Brown sounds like a mistake while dying and/or laundering. Anyway, Violet is very trendy right now, and even as a mn I think it's worth reconsidering it for that reason.I also like Juliet much more than Violet. Sophia Juliet is a timeless classic.
Juliet and violet doesn't work with the last name and Juliet flows better
Sophia Juliet Brown
Violet Brown is too color themed
Sophia/Sofia Violet
I think Sophia Violet flows better and is prettier.
I don't think the color thing matters, as long as her first name is not Violet. But I can see why you'd want to avoid a color name.
Juliet is okay, just a little too frilly/cutesy for my taste.
I personally think having a color middle name when your last name is already a color is a bit odd.
Sophie/Sophia Juliet flows better than Sophie/Sophia Violet—in the latter case, the "ph" and "v" clash.
I would pick Juliet. It just seems to go better, plus:
-The "f" sound in Sophie/Sophia/Sofia is basically the same as the "v" sound in Violet, just different amounts of air. Sophie Violet especially is a tongue twister.
-It does make the middle and last names sound like a color, violet-brown.
-Sophie/Sophia makes me think soft, pillowy, pastel while Violet is bright and sharp, so I think they clash a bit. It's less of a problem for Sofia, but still similar.
