Brand New Girl Names

I like Itzel, Yaretzi, Briella, Avianna, Harlow, Zuri, Nayeli, Cataleya and Brielle, though not all of them are my typical cup of tea. I'm not so much a fan of all the adding 'lynn' and 'lee' to the end of random 1 syllable names and sounds, or the boys names on girls or the obvious surnames as first names or the krreighVIIItyvve spellings.

So true!!
I wonder if spelling plays into it like Mackenzie versus McKenzie and Michaela versus Makayla
Mackenzie and Mckenzie are both on here, actually!
Wow! That's quite an undertaking.I'm very surprised to see Elle on there, I didn't notice it's listed as "English (Modern)" until now. 😲
It's also the only name I really care about on this list.
Yes, I find it very strange Elle is such a modern name! It feels like it should be older, like Ella and Ellie.
You've been very busy, Rainya. Most of these "new" names aren't my style. I don't like misspellings, "youneek" spellings, y's that pop up out of nowhere, strange "ley" and "lynn" endings on words, boys names on girls etc... The following are some names I don't mind. Addison - I like the sound of this name but wouldn't use it because of the disease by the same name.Serenity - I like the meaning.Alaia - I was a fan of the fashion designer Azzedine Alaia.Mackenzie - better on a boy.Amaya - soft and prettyZuri - lots of spunkFinley - see MackenzieLennon - I've grown to like this name but it took a long time.Sawyer - see MackenzieHarlow - I prefer Marlowe but this is okTeagan - I can bear this oneJourney - At least it's spelled correctly.Amari - a pleasant soundSelah - like a gentle breeze on a hot dayLogan - see MackenzieSaige - one of the few "youneek" spellings I like. There are always exceptions to the rules.Lorelai - I prefer Lorelei but the name is fine.Legacy - this has a lovely sound to it.Thank you for all of your hard work. It's much appreciated.
I also am not a huge fan of recent names for much of the same reasons! I think we have similar taste. Also, Selah was supposed to be Reign, oopsies. I'll have to make that correction. Selah is a beautiful name, though.
I have become addicted to those name quizzes!
I’ve been addicted for almost a year!
