Mila vs. Mina
Which one do you choose? What would you choose as a full name, if you don't like these versions on their own? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I like Mina. It looks more balanced, I think it's nicer to say, and it just has a nicer vibe. Mila looks less balanced on its own, it has a pronunciation issue (I could see it being pronounced as Myla or Mila), and it seems more glamorous / celebrity-like / unapproachable compared to Mina.
I don't hate these names, but they just wouldn't be my first pick. Out of Mila and Mina, I'd choose Mina; it's less common and sounds "ballsy" to me.
MilaI don't love it - I might if I felt identified with Slavic or Hispanic heritage?
but at least when I hear it, I don't notice "meal" in it, the way I always notice "mean" in Mina. Mila is pretty.
Mina sounds mean, to my poor naive brain that has never encountered any real people called Mina.I wouldn't use Mila as short for anything, but I like Milena and Emilia and Jamila and C/Kamila alright.
If I had to use Mina, I'd make it short for Jasmina. I also like Carmina, and Willemina is not bad.
Mina, definitely. It’s more sophisticated.
I love Mila! I wonder if it's usually used as a diminutive for Camila? I prefer Mila on its own, though.Mina seems more like a nickname to me for names that end in Mina. I hate Wilhelmina, but I could see it being used for Samina or Yasmina.
I like Mila best and it doesn’t need a full name. It’s beautiful as a given name as well as a diminutive for Milena.
I've always thought Mina was beautiful. I might use Minerva as a full name, or maybe Wilhelmina.
Mila, and I think just on its own.
Mila
Milena as full name.
