Mila vs. Mina
Which one do you choose?
What would you choose as a full name, if you don't like these versions on their own?
Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I like Mina. It looks more balanced, I think it's nicer to say, and it just has a nicer vibe.
Mila looks less balanced on its own, it has a pronunciation issue (I could see it being pronounced as Myla or Mila), and it seems more glamorous / celebrity-like / unapproachable compared to Mina.

Mina.
Mila
I don't love it - I might if I felt identified with Slavic or Hispanic heritage?
but at least when I hear it, I don't notice "meal" in it, the way I always notice "mean" in Mina. Mila is pretty.
Mina sounds mean, to my poor naive brain that has never encountered any real people called Mina.
I wouldn't use Mila as short for anything, but I like Milena and Emilia and Jamila and C/Kamila alright.
If I had to use Mina, I'd make it short for Jasmina. I also like Carmina, and Willemina is not bad.

Mina, definitely. It’s more sophisticated.
I like Mila best and it doesn’t need a full name. It’s beautiful as a given name as well as a diminutive for Milena.
Mila, and I think just on its own.
