Changing daughters name from Emilia to?
Ok so me and my hubby couldn’t agree on a name and we had to pick something before leaving the hospital so we decided on Emilia Isabelle. Last name is Brown.
However, after being home a few weeks, her name just didn’t feel right & I was experiencing a lot of name regret. I mentioned it to my hubby and he wasn’t in love with her name either.
We thought about it for a while and decided that we would change her name since she was only a few weeks old.
One of the names we had discussed was Sophia/Sophie. It was hubbys grandmothers name & was special to him and I think it’s a very pretty name and she felt a Sophie to me.
We’re still stuck on what we should use for her middle name. We could keep it the same as Isabelle but with Sophia/Sophie being such a common name I’d like to do some thing that is a little more unique.
Middle names were thinking of
Juliet or
Emilia
I have a bunch of other middle names that I would like to use like Violet, but my hubby isn’t so open minded, and Juliet and Emilia are the only ones he wants to go with.
Should we just use Emilia since it was the first name we chose for her or should we go with Juliet?
Which one do you think sounds the best or is the prettiest? :)

Personally, my favourite combination is Sophia Juliet. The names are all lovely though, so the right one would be whatever makes you happiest.
You’ll know what makes you happy. Just change it; there’s no need for a moment of regret.
Sophie Juliet would be my pick, especially since you think of "Emilia" as Sophie. Are there any other names that are special to you? Think of any other family members on your side, perhaps? Maybe a friend you'd like to honor? You should also be able to get a say in your child's name, just as he does!
I would go with Sophie Emilia purely because it keeps the link with the original name so people will get less confused!
OMG, you're right, that's perfect!
Juliet and Emilia aren't that unique, so if you like Isabelle, why not use it?
My favorite of the options would be Sophie Juliet.

Why no6 let the child decide when they're older? And give a name now as a place holder.
not** I believe in choice and not a forced name on a child.
I think Sophie Juliet would be the best! Sophia/Sophie Emilia has vowels that run into each other.
