Re: Cat Names?
My cat's name is Lydia. Named so because of how much I *love* the name and just had to use it. Her nicknames, related to her name that is, are Lydie and from my young nieces, Lydia Kittia. 😊
Here she is in fact: IMG-20231012-153830235 I'm hoping to be able to adopt another cat within the near future. (πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™) and the names that I plan to use would either be Josephine "Josie" (another stunning name that goes well with Lydia) or for a male, most likely Stanley. (So adorable!)
I love human names for pets (just what I'd use myself) but off-beat and whimsical names are fun too. My previous cat before her was Diamond. (2002-2018) I named her back when I was a kid, so had I had her much later, her name undoubtedly would have been something else entirely. Her name didn't exactly suit her, especially thinking back on it now, but was one that just stuck. FB-IMG-1658633179970 And before Diamond, there was snowball. No picture, but can you guess what color he/she was? πŸ˜„πŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·β‡οΈπŸŒ·

Thanks! 😊
Aww Lydia is so pretty! Lydia & Josephine would be great cat β€˜sister’ names :D
She really is, isn't she? 😊 I *love* the set of Lydia & Josephine and the prospect of using the diminutives of Lydie & Josie completely sells me. Although I've always heard that getting another female with an already existing one usually isn't the best idea. Not sure I will have any problems with Lydia, given her personality and temperament, but I will certainly have to wait and see. Male or female, it would certainly be nice to give Lydia a potential playmate and companionship.
