Re: Cat Names?
When I name a cat sometimes the name just comes to me, as if he/she came with that name, sometimes it’s based off their personality, other times it’s just a name I liked. My cats name is Lady Augusta Marie aka Gus-Gus, Gussie :)Cats I named when I was a kid: Butterball, General, Sophie, Nameless (I couldn’t think of a good name for him so I just gave up :D), Leftover (he was the only survivor of a dog attack…). Augusta is a farm cat & she’s had a few litters over the years, here are a few…
Wilfred & Wolfgang (tabby bros), Plum & Peaches
Benjamin & Jemima (grey ‘twins’), Thumbelina ‘Thimble’, Cricket & Grasshopper.
Avonlea, Patsy, Louisa May & Lucy Maud (b&w ‘twins’, named after Alcott & Montgomery), Gilmore, Gustave & IgnatiusIggy’ (all orange bros). I also had Willamina nn Wilma who had 1 litter: Guinevere & Melusine (calicos), Kentigern (all black) & Sinclair (b&w).

I met two cats named Butterball and Snowball when I was at school. Friends of my parents owned them. This is only the second Butterball cat I know of!
