Dr. January
I work in a medical setting and I came across a doctor named January.I also came across another doctor named Kinsley.Though neither are my personal taste, it made me think of the "Imagine a doctor ___!" debate and how silly it is.

I don't like that argument either... I mean yes, some people are awful and will not hire you upon reading your name, but if they have common sense they will give you the benefit of the doubt.I am not fond of Kinsley because I just see it as Kenzie or Kinley but not as good as either of them.
I do like January because its unique. It makes me think of snow and new beginnings, with it being the first month of the year.
My mom's younger brother was almost named January (masculine name in Polish, form of Januarius).I like some of the feminine forms like Januaria and Janvière.
I say we need more Dr. Januarys out there!I love the idea of January as a name, it's a pretty sound. And the whole Janus connection is very cool. Too bad I find the month itself dreadful! It's my fault for living where I do, I guess. I should find the land of pleasant January.I'm excited to hear of a doctor called Kinsley. I'm using the name in a story, but wasn't sure if it worked on someone older than 12. Dr. Kinsley reassures me it can! A doctor has to be at least like, 25, right??
I like the name January.
I don’t like January but it’s a respectable name. Kinsley less so (kind of childish), but I wouldn’t think less of the doctor for it.
I find January and its relatives (e.g., Gennaro and Janvier) very charming.I abhor Kinsley!
I agree that the debate is very silly, because names have nothing to do with someone's personality. This being said, I dislike both January and Kinsley as names at all.
Most adults don't call their doctors Dr. Firstname. There's a difference, I think, between January and Kinsley and something like Muffin or Rascal.
Years ago, I made a similar comment and was mocked mercilessly. In *your* opinion, Rascal and Muffin are stranger than January and Kinsley. Others might think they are all strange names, or that they are all normal because they have seen names that are even stranger in their eyes. People who are close to their doctors might use their first name, who knows?
Well no…Most people don't call presidents by their first names eitherI was just saying I see a lot of people (not specifically on this board) that use the debate of not being able to picture a president, doctor, CEO, etc. with more creative names
I agree that that debate is silly. What is important to a doctor is not their name.
