What do you think of Declan Henry John Perry? We think we've found our sons name, we just want last minute thoughts. He'll be joining older sister Emily Jacqueline Rose Perry.
So confused, posted on 3 different sites. 1 site loves his name, 1 site hates it and the 3rd is 50/50.
Henry and John are both family names honouring people close to us but the amount of dislike we've gotten for our middle names has us uncertain.

All that matters is if you and your husband love it. I can’t see anything wrong with the middle names and even if you were to spell them Henrrie Djon it’s still okay as it’s just his middle names (but please don’t do this 😅).
I would advise you not to worry about people's preferences. After all, a “good name” is subjective. And the name itself objectively seems to have little room for major problems.
Whats not to like? Handsome names all. There is a contingent that hates the classics in any form, but honestly what they think is immaterial. Your boy, your choice, and it really is a good one.

Middle names are for honouring family and friends. Nobody else has to like or dislike them: that's not the point. For what it's worth, I like the three names together, and the flow is fine too.
Please don't worry too much about what people on websites think, that is the road to insanity. If you love it, use it!
Remember that like 95% of the people in your son's life will know him as Declan Perry and that's it. People are extra rude online but nobody with any decency is going to criticize your middle name choices in the "real world". Don't drive yourself crazy obsessing over this stuff!

Yeah, I personally think this is just evidence that you shouldn't ask for the opinions of strangers. Everyone's taste in names is different, so you will always get a wide range of answers. But the only answer that matters is yours!
It's overall lovely. I think what's throwing me on it personally, is the cadence of the name aloud. Declan Perry flows nice off the tongue. So does Declan John Perry. Henry with the "ry" ending next or with the last name Perry tends to throw off the cadence. Henry Perry makes it a bit of a tongue twister even with the break of John in between.
It might be Declan that people don't like. It is very different from Henry and John. I personally do not like Declan, but it is ultimately up to you guys. I don't think you should take naming advice from strangers - even if they do have kids. You are the only tie breaker and if you like it, that's all that matters.
