Re: "Low rent" names

Also, can we not use the word bimbo? Really? Can we please stop juding a woman on their sexuality?
I try very hard not to judge people on their names. I used to when I was younger, but then I grew up. I realize now the problematic, if very human, nature of doing so. The head nurse at my work is named Brttni. She's a talented, classy, intelligent woman and her name fits her. Yet people would judge her name as 'low-class' - it's ridiculous.
My own name has been called a 'stripper name,' low-class, etc. It's gaining in popularity and it will be interesting to see if the perception will change. But I can say that it's not a pleasant sensation to see 'stripper name' in regards to my name, and I'm not going to do that.
