Re: Names with negative associations
Names I enjoy, with negative associations:Harris - to me, he was just someone who dominated the conversation in entry Shakespeare classes; but the stories I've heard about this man with lots of money... basically, they all liken him to the villains in A Promising Young Woman (I've tried to forget about these stories, to no avail)Yevgeniy - the Russian version of the above a-holeConnor - raging douchebag in college, the year below me; and his last year, he ended up "dating" a sixteen-year-old from town (have to put "dating" in quotes there)Silas - another college douchebag (a lot of these associations are college) who drove drunk and caused an accident that broke another student's collarbone; also, he most likely was the one who stole my friend's safeAlma - rather rude stereotypical hipster I knew in college; and since she's the only Alma I've ever met...Margot - I love this name, but it belongs to perhaps the single most ego-centric person I've ever met in my life, and if she heard I'd named my daughter Margot in any capacity she'd assume I named my daughter after her, so...Robin - a feminine bearer is actually a negative association for both my parents (short version: she was caught cheating and told her husband that the affair partner was my dad, instead of the guy it really was)***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
