Good question:
Daisy: Super Mario Bros, the flower, summertime.
Leonard: sophisticated; knew a nice lady with this surname.
Donatello, Michealangelo, Raphael, Leonardo: the artists and the Ninja Turtles.
Garnet and Amethyst: I remember the characters from Steven Universe being cool.
Topaz: a character from a Barbie movie I loved as a kid.
Josephine: relative.
Anne: Anne Frank and Anne Shirley.
Elaina: Elaina of Avalor.
Linda: Phineas and Ferb's mom. Means beautiful in Spanish.
Belle: one of my favorite Disney princesses. Means beautiful in French.
Jasmine: always loved this name. One of the better Disney princesses. It's a flower, too!
Melinda: the protagonist of "Speak". Groundbreaking novel. Changed my life.
Phineas: The songwriter Phinneas O'Connell and the co-protagonist of Phineas and Ferb.
Billie and Eilish: self-explanatory.
Jolie: a freckle-faced girl I knew in school.
Tara: an actress I respect, Tara Strong.
Selena: Gomez. I've loved her since I was little.
Taylor: Swift, but I still see it as a unisex name.
Nicholas: I knew a funny kid in school with this name.
Diego: Go Diego Go... do you see the pattern here?
Out of respect for my friends' privacy, I won't list them. But any name of a friend, I associate it with good things.
