There was an artist who went by this name - Dora Carrington, I think? There was also another great Carrington artist, Leonora Carrington, a surrealist. I always mix them up.
Carrington makes me think of the 30s, but in a fun way, not a Great Depression kinda way. "Girls in cropped hair and tuxedos and drinking martinis to be subversive" kinda 30s. It also has a Southern Belle sort of ring to it.
I like it a lot, but it is a lot of name. It could come across as very hoity-toity. But Carrington called "Carrie" or "Cary" would be cute and less unwieldy.
