Very pretty name. I enjoy it. Unfortunately I came across a very bitchy Vanessa not too long ago who kinda ruined the name for me.

I have always loved the name Vanessa; I think that it's a gorgeous name.

I think it's plain and not that pretty.

I like it quite a lot, but only for other people. It's too fancy for me to use. I knew a pleasant, pretty, unremarkable Vanessa at school, and at uni a dear friend had a shy, beautiful, insecure Vanessa girlfriend and we all hoped the relationship would last, but after three years it dawned on her parents that he was part of a different religion, and they took her away overnight and sent her to a university in another country. I still get angry.
