Constance or Florence?
Which one do you prefer, Constance or Florence? And if you had to use either of them, what middle name(s) would you pair with it?~*~*~*~kuin metsäorvokki laaksossa

I much prefer Florence - Constance has con and stance in it, way too wordy and boring. Florence is just more feminine and pretty and flow-y. I'd be more likely to put Florence in the middle (e.g. Clara Florence) but answering your question: Florence Amy came to mind first. Maybe Florence Emilia.
Don't like either
I really like Constance, it's a beautiful golden honey shade in my mind, and makes me think of a sunny day and a smiling face. It's a serious, grown-up name, yet it feels light. I could definitely see myself with a daughter called Constance.Florence is lovely too, but I have a great aunt with the name already. We are not close, yet when I see the name she's all I can think of. She lived in a dark little house, so Florence feels cramped and shadowy to me too.If I had to use Constance....Constance Sophie
Constance Lucy
Constance Rosemary
Constance Clara
I adore Constance and prefer it to Florence, which is also lovely.I'm partial to Constance Amy Leonora, which would honor my dead mom (Amy) and, less directly, my dead dad (Valentino Leo).
Time ago, I would have chosen Florence over Constance any time, but now I have learnt to esteem it and I think it's bearable despite being old-fashioned, especially with the nickname Connie, or Nancy. It's recently been trendy in France, staying at a moderate rank, while concurrently, in the States, something like Raelynn is at the same spot - how interesting.I also like Florence, but I prefer other Flor- names.Constance Aurelia
Constance Beatrix
Constance Genevieve
Constance Juno
Constance VictoriaFlorence Anastasia
Florence Delilah
Florence Juliet
Florence Matilda
Florence Willow
I prefer Florence. It's a family name on both sides, and as long as nns like Florrie and Flo can be avoided, I'd use it happily. I don't mind Constance, but I wouldn't think of using it: too many other names are nicer. In my family there have been Florence Beatrice and Ann Florence.I'd like Florence Emily, Florence Helen or Florence Dinah.
I think Florence sounds better, its the perfect mix of oldtimey and modern for me. Constance makes me picture an old religious lady.
About middle names, Florence Irene sounds good together
