Re: “High fantasy” names

It has been a while since I've read LeGuin, but I remember a lot of the "use-names" were nature related. Serret sounds sort of Egyptian inspired, which is neat. Teriel is pretty.
Tolkien has names that were inspired by old languages, so sometimes I’m not sure which names he invented. Like Frodo is sort of invented but also very Norse.
Aerandir
Amaranth
Aragorn
Aranwë
Arwen
Beorn
Dolwethil
Eärendil
Elendil
Elenwë – makes me think of Eilonwy from Lloyd Alexander's The Chronicles of Prydain
Elrond
Éomund
Eowyn
Faramir
Finwë
Galadriel
Gandalf
Isildur
Lórien
Lothlórien
Samwise
Théodred
Thorin
I really enjoy seeing the -wë and L endings.
