A guilty pleasure. It took me years to actually see its charm. I prefer it to Betsy, Bess, Bessie or even Beth, as far Elizabeth diminutives/derivatives go.
I like it. And I know it's a little bit of a stretch but I think it's divine as a nickname for Beatrix.

Despite not being my favorite nickname for Elizabeth (I much prefer Elsie), I can see it making a comeback very soon. It would be delightful to see it back on the charts.
So cute, and actually pretty cool. I used to find it boring; now I'd kill to meet a young Betty. It's so much more refreshing than Ellie.
