Most of the High Fantasy I read still used pretty familiar names. I remember my favourite books as a teenager had characters named Talia, Rolan, Elspeth, and Dirk.

I tend to really like "cozy high fantasy" style names that are otherworldly yet familiar. Like Goldberry, Willadene, Amilly, Maharet, stuff like that.

I usually like short ones best - more scifi style maybe.
Irian, Kest, Serret, Elt and the like
Ala, Irulan, Arsibalt
There was a character named Mead ... I thought it was cute that it kinda paralleled Brandy.
I had to look up most of these though.
What comes to mind best are the names I gave toons when I played world of warcraft.
Feirlitt, Madwina, Cluna... there were others and I can't log in anymore so can't find them.
One guy called his toon Wickthorn and that was brilliant.

It occurred to me while thinking about this question, that many popular names right now sound like Hobbit names. Do you think that's a good characterization of the trend?

It has been a while since I've read LeGuin, but I remember a lot of the "use-names" were nature related. Serret sounds sort of Egyptian inspired, which is neat. Teriel is pretty.

Tolkien has names that were inspired by old languages, so sometimes I’m not sure which names he invented. Like Frodo is sort of invented but also very Norse.
