Hecate
Does Hecate work? The story behind it is so interesting.

Mythology names are coming into greater use, beyond Greek and Roman; so, piggybacking off of what New_Chloë said, Hecate could work - among the right people. If you're in a social circle that leans romantic and/or New Age, a little Hecate shouldn't have too much difficulty. Anywhere more mainstream, though... reactions could range from misspellings and mispronunciations ("he-Kate") to outright prejudice.Cate is the most intuitive nickname, but Kitty is cute, as well.
No don't like it
It’s glorious! Kit and Kitty would be cute nicknames.
It would work in my world. I hang out with a lot of pagan types. They would even know how to say it! But other people might not. But they could always go by Cat, Cate, Katie, or even Kitty, after all. Since Hecate is a possible root for Catherine, I don't see why not. I like Hecate. I find it cute and cheery, as far as intense witch goddesses go.
Middle name material. The only time I've seen it on someone other than the goddess was a fictional character and she was called Heckie, which is not a good nickname lol.
Also, I used to think it was pronounced he-Kate.
