Sister for Evelyn
Ideas for a little sister for Evelyn? I like the idea of sticking with a more vintage name with a cute nickname. Our last name is one short syllable so longer names tend to sound better. So far I’m a fan of Adelaide, Addison, Vivian, Josephine, but looking for some other inspiration.

Addison means Adam's son. That's why it's inappropriate. I will choose classic name.

I like Adelaide and Josephine with Evelyn. (Addie and Josie/Jo?)
I like Vivian but I think it has older sibling vibes so I wouldn't use it for a little sister.
Addison doesn't fit for me, Evelyn is more of a vintage name that's coming back into style while Addison is very 2000's. Evelyn and the others can also be a bit glamorous and Addison doesn't have that.
Also:
Mariam / Maryam (Mimi or Mari)
Adelina (Addie or Lina)
Amelia (Mimi or Ami)
Marceline (Marcy/Marcie)
Beatrice (Bee)
Cecilia (Cece)
Winona or Winifred (Winnie)
Lucia (Lucy or Lulu)
Katherine (Kitty, Kate, etc.)
Gianna (Gigi)
Juno (June or Junie) (not sure about this one, but "Evie and June" sounded cute)
Melanie (Mel)
Laurel (Laurie)
Sabrina (Bri)
Christine / Christina (Chrissy, Tina, etc)

Which pronounciation? eve-lin or ehv-ə-lin?
Violet would be my pick!
Gosh, this is hard. Evelyn has really grown on me and I think it's got the most lovely vintage charm to it now, so she needs a similarly lovely sister name. "Evelyn and Violet" just sounds delightful to my ears. They are similar and have the V to sort of link them, but each has her own personality.
Vivian is another name I love, but "Evelyn and Vivian" are TOO harmonious, too close to rhyming. It would make the set sound like "Sherri and Terri" levels of matcy-matchy (which may be your thing).
Evelyn and Josephine are really cute together too. Very vintage-cool indeed.
Other ideas:
Louisa -Lulu
Wilhelmina- Billie, Willa, Mina
Adeline -Addie
Clementine -Clemmie
Helena - Helly, Lena
Virginia - Ginny
Anneliese - Annie
Eugenia -Ginny, Genie
Miriam - Mimi, Mir, Miri
Anything but Addison. Even Alison would be better.
