I prefer Skylar for a girl and Avery for a boy.
Despite having a niece named Skylar, I'm gonna have to go with Avery. They're both equally trendy, or at least previously were, but Avery seems to have more staying power. After all, it's been around for centuries, unlike Skylar.
I think Skylar is prettier.
I prefer the Skyler spelling for the name Skylar. Choosing between Avery and Skylar, I'd go with Skylar; it's more uncommon nowadays.
Have always liked Avery, a family name, but only on a boy, honestly do not see it as anything but masculine and have only known guys with this name, don't think it suits girls on any level.
Skylar hands down. It’s my favorite “trendy “ name. I don’t care for Avery.
Personally, Avery. I prefer Skyler over Skylar.
Don't like either prefer Ava or Eve nn Evie, prefer Kylie or Kiah to Skylar
I like both a lot but Skylar is prettier. When I hear Avery I usually think of a boy. When I hear Skylar I usually think of a girl. It can be shortened to Sky. Avery has Ave which I don't like as much.
