Nicknames for Charles
I love Charles, but Charlie doesn't quite do it for me. I also hear Charlie/Charli quite a bit as a nickname for Charlotte these days.I think Chuck is cool. I'm wondering if Carlo is a stretch, but I also love it very much. Any other good ideas you can think of?Thanks!

In French, a common nickname for Charles is Charlot, pronounced ''Shar-lo''.
They've probably been said. I lean towards not using a nickname. Carlo does seem like a bit of a stretch. I'm not a big fan of Chuck, but it works. Chaz / Chas or Chip are also options, but I'd prefer just Charles.
I like Charlie as a nickname. Carlo is a stretch but its definitely more attractive than Chuck or Chucky. To put it politely, I really do not like them. Chip is okay but sounds kind of... old fashioned? There are some weird ones like Chit and Chick, too. :)
I like Chip for when he’s little, but it might not suit someone over the age of 12. I do like Chuck although it makes me think of The Peanuts. Carlo is quite a stretch but I think if you really like it you should just go with that one.
I knew a handyman who went by Chip. It’s definitely possible.
Chaz, I think Carlo is a stretch
Chase is used as nickname for Charles!
Charles Lyle -> Carlyle?
Chaz is also a good one.
