Thinking of 1960s England, I suggest Patrick, Dennis (maybe nicknamed "Denny"), Paul, Richard (perhaps, with the nickname "Rick" or "Ricky"), Robert, Steven, Neil, and Mark.

I like the name Richard, as well as Mark. I could possibly change Mark to Marko (the character is of Slovene descent).

I think that Marko would be a great idea! Marko isn't a very common name, and he could go by Mark, if ever needed. Either way, I'm so glad that you found a name; I wish you good luck with your writing!
