Rate my girl names list
After over a year of deletion and hard work I’ve cut my girls list to just over 20 names! I’m quite proud of this - a year ago it was ~500 girls names, and only a month ago it was 100 girls names.
So please tell me what you think of the remaining 30!
https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/228065/151683
Which are your favourites?
Which are your least favourites and why do you dislike those?
Which combos would you do? You can use just names from the list, or add your own names, or use one of my girls middle names (May, Maya, Frida, Ruth, Olga, Primrose, Lucy, Mary).
What is the overall impression you get from my girls names?
How would you rate my girls list out of ten?
Thank you so much!

Well done on getting your list down!
My favourites are Hazel (my favourite girl’s name!) and Margo. I also like Beatrix, Grace, Ivy, Juliet, Phoebe, Primrose and Rose. My least favourites would be Abigail (nothing wrong with the name- purely personal associations), and Hephzibah (I just personally don’t like the sound).
I’ve never been good at combos but I’ll try!:
Beatrix May
Grace Evangeline
Hazel Joy
Ivy Hope
Juliet Lucy
Margo Beatrice
Phoebe Abigail
Primrose Ida
Rose Hephzibah
I really like your list, it seems sort of classic and somewhat nature themed. It feels familiar (maybe with the exception of Hephzibah) and pleasant. I’d rate it 8/10

Did you edit the list since posting? I didn't see several that people mentioned (Violet, Felicity, Beatrice, Beatrix, Judith, Susannah).
I notice multiple biblical, virtue, nature names; my overall impression is conventional but not staid. I get vaguely an 18th century vibe seeing Hepzibah, Phoebe, Mary, Lucy, Faith, Abigail together + vaguely an early 20th century vibe seeing Ida, Evangeline, Ruth, Cora, May, Hazel, Olga together, though most of them (beyond Hepzibah and Olga) also seem current/young.
I would rate it a 7/10.
Favorites: Hope, Mary, Phoebe, Rose, Cora, Hannah, Hazel, Hepzibah, Ivy, Juliet, Naomi. + Ruth, Frida.
Least favorites: Grace and Margo. They seem the most likely to be obnoxious.
I like the rest ok but would be less likely to pick those myself than the favorites.
Hope Mary
Naomi Juliet
Phoebe Hannah
Cora Hazel
Ivy Ruth
Rose Hepzibah
Lucy Frida
Joy Olga
Ida Evangeline
Primrose Faith
Abigail Eva

Great job with getting your list down
The names I like most are
Abigail May or Ruth
Faith Olga or lucy
Grace Olga or Primrose
Hannah Ruth
Hope Primrose
Juliet May or Olga
Lucy May
Naomi Ruth
Primrose Lucy
Rose Lucy
The ones I don't like are Hephzibah, Ivy and Margo
I think it would be great to use an honour name

Favourites that I would use IRL: Alice*, Beatrice***, Eva*, Felicity, Joy, Juliet, Lucy, Mary***, Susannah*
* = family name; ** = already used IRL
Least favourite: Abigail (OK if it shortens to Gail, but it doesn't), Cora (sound of a crow), Evangeline (inconveniently long; way too religious, as are Faith, Grace and Hope), Faith, Grace, Hannah (Ann(e) is so much neater and tidier), Hep(h)zibah (sounds like an extinct animal), Hope, Ivy (very annouying plant, don't like the I; don't like it in Ida either, but I can just about face Ida), Margo (spelling; prefer Margaret), Pearl (unpleasing vowel sound; don't like jewel names), Primrose, Violet (two flower names that just don't sound attractive at all.)
Alice Felicity
Beatrice Mary
Eva Ruth
Lucy Joy
Susannah May
Juliet Clare
Pretty mainstream in general. I'd give it a 6.

I like Abigail, Cora, Alice, Ivy, Susannah, Juliet, Pheobe, Primrose, and Naomi.
I love Joy, Felicity, Evangeline and Lucy.
I dislike Hephzibah, Hazel, Beatrice, Beatrix, Judith, Margo, and Olga.
I'm impartial to the rest.
Your taste is towards the more classic names. A few are outstandingly biblical whereas others sound centuries old.
Your list overall is 7/10.
Grace Evangeline (very religious in tone but sounds great)
Primrose Naomi
Faith Juliet
Hope Felicity
Joy Susannah
Hazel Beatrix
Olga Beatrice
Mary Hephzibah
Frida Josephine
Ruth Alexandra
May Audrey
Maya Judith
Lucy Margo
Ida Valentine
Hannah Celeste
Eva Clementine
Abigail Samantha
Cora Lucille
Ivy Maurine
Alice Delphine
Pheobe Adele
I tried to use your middle names as first names so they would be unique.

Which are your favorites? - Abigail, Grace, Naomi, Phoebe, Rose
Which are your least favourites and why do you dislike those?-Alice.
Which combos would you do? You can use just names from the list, or add your own names, or use one of my girls middle names (May, Maya, Frida, Ruth, Olga, Primrose, Lucy, Mary).-Grace Lucy.
What is the overall impression you get from my girls names?-I think most of the vintage names from the early 20th century or earlier that are currently popular or on the rise.
How would you rate my girls list out of ten?-Subjectively 6 points, objectively 8 points.
