Furthest Back Sibset in my family tree circa mid- 1500s
So I've been going all out on researching my genealogy and was certain I was going to hit a wall sooner than I had in my research... but the furthest Back family member I was able to directly find was born in 1490. Which is flicking amazing to me. That was the grandfather of the following sibset. The oldest sibset I was able to find in the records of my family history. I intend to share some of my direct ancestors names as well I found interesting in the relative near future since several were quite notable and unusual imo. Lemme know what you think. William *many many greats grandfather
Beatrix
Robert
Richard
Maria
AnnPlease rate my "Names I would Use" list & "Backup Favorites" list. Feel free to rate some of my other lists too if you have the time.

How cool that you could do this!! I wish you luck, if you ever try to break down that wall! Anyways, I really like all of these names!! I wonder if Maria was pronounced like people say it, nowadays. Or, if it was "Mary-uh" (personally, I do prefer the modern, commonplace pronunciation, lol).
It was pronounced like Mariah.
How lovely to see Beatrix! The others are not bad, but pretty standard. Very impressive genealogy hunt. I barely even know my great-grandparents, but genealogy interest me, so I might look into it when I have some time and resources.
Hi!In Italy is very hard looking for family trees. There is not a main database. Each city, town, village records its own data and well ... They are not digital, except for these few decades. Plus they are not avallable except for specific requests and applications. And then I'm not sure that all data were collected and not sure that the most of them were saved through the decades. The most of us can go back a century (1800s) if we are lucky. What a pity. I would be excited. I like William, Richard and Beatrix.I like Percival and Campbell too from the previous answer.
Impressive ancestor hunt! My tree contains William, Robert, Mary and Anne; also Beatrice. And a few total horrors, like Percival and Campbell.
I don't know, I like Percival. Great names.
LOVE these!!
All great names
