Do these names sound too similar?
Hi! I am pregnant with my third baby boy, my first two are Lachlan David and Liam Oliver. I am really loving the name Callum and it’s definitely my top choice, but then I said the names Liam and Callum together and now I’m worried they sound too similar. Would love some feedback, what do you think? Thanks!

They do kind of sound alike. Thar's unfortunate because both of them are great names.
Borderline. Would only do it if it’s your absolute fave no other name compares. Have you considered Declan? Also it’s good no more Ls!
That’s probably too similar to Lachlan.
Oh yes. You’re right. Declan & Lachlan are closer than Liam & Callum.
Personally yes. My given name is Paige. My sister’s name is Faith. I think even just by virtue of the same vowel sound, people thought they sound the same and get our names mixed up, and if not enunciated it’s hard to tell which name someone is saying. If now you’re saying the names and thinking it’s too similar, it will not get better.
No, they go well together and different enough
No, it's fine. They feel no more similar to each other than Liam and Lachlan, imo.
There's a similarity, yeah, but it's not so much that it's a tongue-twister to say 'Callum & Liam.' and I think they're not ever going to get confused because Callum has that hard K sound.

I can see that! I guess I’m worried about them kind of rhyming, like the endings sound almost the exact same. But you’re right they do also have strong differences.
They do sound pretty similar. I imagine if a teacher had both students, they'd always accidentally call Callum "Liam".Have you considered a third "L" name to match the first two?
I also have two full time step kids who don’t have L names so it’s just a coincidence that the youngest two have matching initials :)
Ah, gotcha! Well, you can always make Callum the middle name if you're worried. :)
