Sounds like it walked off the pages of a Lemony Snickett story! It's pretty wild. I know that in the olden days, people used to name their kids after a more prosperous godparent, in the hope they would share the wealth with their namesake, and it led to a lot of very special names... I wonder if Clotworthy is an example of that!
