I think so, it's a baby boomer name but I have occasionally seen it on younger people. Pat and Patty are old, Patsy is childish and old (like something a grandma went by as a little kid).
Tricia or Trisha as a full name doesn't sound old.

I think so, because my grandma is Patricia and she is nearly 91 years old.

I think Patricia sounds old, as well as its nicknames Tricia, Pat and Patty. The only reason that Trish sounds more modern than the other nicknames is because of Trish from 'Austin & Ally'. I grew up watching it and never thought it sounded old.

It probably depends where you are living. Patricia is what I'd call a "dated classic" in North America because it was very popular for the baby boomer generation, but in other areas it's more current.

And even though it is dated, if I were to see the name "Patricia Jones" on paper I would not immediately think they are elderly. Patsy or Patty seem old fashioned, but Patricia in full feels ageless to me.

So I'm going to say, no it isn't.

Patricia was popular with my parents generation (1950s) and into the early 1960s. While I don’t see my parents or in-laws as old (one aged 73 is building a house) I think it will be at least another generation (25/30 years)before it is ready for a comeback.
