What name do you hope will never make a comeback?
In my case, I would say Chastity.

Krystal, with a K is definitely close. I don't mind Crystal as much though.
Awww, I love Krystal. :(
Clyde, Leroy, Chester, Dewayne, Elmer, Bertha, and I wish Delilah and Sloane would go away.
Delilah is awful.

Isn't this a list of names that have already made a comeback?
Ethel. Mervyn.
That's a good question. I can't really think of a name that I dislike that has not already made a comeback. I can only list names that have made a comeback that I do not see the appeal of. This is regarding the top US 1000's list.
Etta - It seems unfinished and too short.
Hattie- Whether it's said as "hat-ee" or "had-ee" it just seems like a nickname for a small child and not much else.
Susan has not made a comeback, but has been beloved for centuries, never in need of a resurgence. I honestly do not like the sound of it at all. I can at least understand the appeal of Mary. It's sweet and flowery but could fit any kind of girl. Although Susan could probably fit any kind of girl too, it lacks the soft and delicate sound of Mary. I know that people love Susan, but I've never grown attached to it.
I'd love it if names that rhyme such as Ella and Bella and Aiden and Brayden would die die down in popularity. They are all nice names with completely separate etymologies, but they audibly blend together after awhile. It takes the spark out of them.
