I chose names that could be nicknames since Becky sounds very nickname-y to me.

You know, Becky is a funny name, it feels so bubble gum 90s but it's also pretty old. I remember how strange it was to see a character named Becky in Vanity Fair, published in the 1840s. It felt like I had caught a time traveller.

I'd use a name like Sally, Lizzie, Gracie, Jenny, Allie, Hallie, Laurie, Nellie, or Millie.

Becky, or Rebecca, nn Becky? It makes a difference.
