I adore the name Gregory. I grew up watching old movies and "tall, dark and handsome Gregory Peck" first turned me on to the name. I agree the nn Greg isn't the best in the world. Gregor, the Scottish form, or Greer, a variant, could make nice nns. Also, I've always thought that Rory could make a cute nn. (They aren't related etymologically. It's just a nn / similar sound thing.)Gregory Patrick, Gregory John and Gregory David are my favorites from your list. I know you're not looking for other combinations, but Gregory James and Gregory Malcolm are forcing my fingers to type them.
