girls
Guinevere - complicated and pretentious; Jennifer is much better. 2
Hazel - the nut, and a haze isn't appealing. 2
Maisie - as a nn, 6; as an independent name, 2
Naomi - all right; 5
Maya - if MYa, 7; if MAYa, 3
Isla - trendy, with possible pronunciation issues. 4
Lillian - Lilian is preferable; 3
Sophia - if soFEEa, 2; if soFIEa, 8Boys
Sylvan - silly. Dictionary word, and too close to Sylvia. 1
Elliot - very USA. 2
Lucas - I dislike all the Luc- and Luk- names. 2
Rowen - ouch! Rowan would be 6
Bennett - well, Ben's a decent nn, so 4
Sebastian - 6, though where I live it's typically down-market and middle-aged.
Jasper - pleasant enough on someone else or their child. 5
I love Hazel, Naomi, Lillian and Jasper. The others are very nice too.
