I don’t care for either name; if it were twin sisters Emily and Alana, my mind would certainly change.

These would make more sense to me

Both names make English words when spelled backwards and one of those is to be avoided

The set is a bit too discordant for my liking. Emil is lovably stodgy and buttoned up and continental, whereas Lana is, in my mind, distinctly American (cf. Lana Turner and Lana Del Rey). Emil and Lena would make more sense to me.

Lana is ok, I don't like Emil and they don't go together
