Neither are my favorite but I would say Cassidy. Funnily enough I've had characters named both of these names.

Cassidy - makes me think of a tomboy (in a good way). I like how the name looks and sounds and I think it has become a modern classic. I also love the option of the nickname Cassie. Elodie sounds like the annoying little sister and you trip over the letters when pronouncing the name.
Being myself reluctant to hop along, it's got to be Elodie, though it does resemble Melodie with a very short haircut.
