Kathlyn
I've recently come across this name and I really like it. I like it better than Katherine, Kathleen, and Carolyn.Thoughts?

I don't care for it at all. It doesn't roll off the tongue all that well and would get mistaken for Katherine/Kathryn on a constant basis. It just isn't worth it.

Don't like it at all, prefer Kathryn, Kathleen, Katherine and Carolyn

Kathlyn is awkward and contrived-looking. I hope it stays unused. I like Katherine, Kathleen and Carolyn far better.

Out of all those options, I prefer Carolyn.I can get behind Kathryn, but not Kathlyn. It just isn't working for me.

It's OK, but not a favorite. Katherine, Kathleen, and Carolyn are strong favorites of mine, so I prefer those, but, I suppose, Carolyn the most at the moment.

I don't really like this one. I feel like it should either be Kathryn or Kathleen, or maybe Katlyn.
Kathlyn looks like either Engrish Kathryn, Katlyn with a lisp, or Kathleen but they forgot about the second syllable.

I dislike the "ath" and the -lyn sounds being close together. The consonants are not my thing either: thlyn. Kathleen is slightly better in spelling and sound. Katherine is better in spelling but I think it is boring. Carolyn is quite pretty but it is not in my top names. I do not mind the K's and C's being interchangeable, but I think Carolyn is better than Karolyn and Cathlyn looks better than Kathlyn.

I've never heard Kathlyn before but it sounds like a mispronunciation of Kathleen or a person with their mouth full trying to say Katherine so I don't really like it. In theory it's nice though.
