Re: Justine, Jacqueline & Jacquetta

I grew up with a Justine, so it's a pretty silver-purple sort of name that makes me think of the 90s. She was actually not a very nice girl, but I still thought the name was sweet.
Jacqueline is an interesting name. I find it very brassy. Jackie is like THE brassiest name ever. It's loud and charmingly crass. Jacqueline is pretty, but I also like Jaclyn and Jacklyn. They are such crunchy-pumpkin-orange-autumn names to me.
Jacquetta is fun, it looks so flimsy yet it's got an interesting namesake. I think the only place I've ever seen it is on the mother of Elizabeth Woodville who seduced her way onto the throne of England or whatever. I find Jacquetta quite sexy and witchy, probably because I was influenced by Phillipa Gregory's retelling of that whole story. Oh, she was actually accused of witchcraft! Well then. History!
