Haven and Heaven
Do the names Haven and Heaven have the same vibe?
I love the name Haven but would not want to name my child Heaven. Opinions?

Haven has a better vibe. It reminds me of home, animals and nature. Heaven has a vibe of purity and superiority. Its unnecessarily intimidating, although I don't hate it as I used to.

My name is Haven. It's gotten pretty trendy recently - when I was growing up the only Havens I knew were adult men.I have never, ever liked my name - not even when I was a kid. I hated it. Now that's it trendy it's easier to deal with - people actually recoginze and spell it - but I still dislike it.I get called Heaven ALL the time. I also answer to Hailey, Hayden, Raven, and most female H names.Keep in mind that I'm a 42 years old, you'll be naming a baby. I know of three young Havens now. I'm biased, because as I said: when I was growing up it was unheard of, all the people I knew with the name were men, and I was already odd enough without having an odd name.

Pretty much the same: Heaven is worse.

They do not have the same vibe.Haven feels sharper, more serious. Heaven is maudlin and cloying. It is possible that a Haven might get called Heaven sometimes, though.

Don't like either, but Haven is a little better

I agree with you that Haven is a bit more palatable than Heaven. Though they both have similar meanings Heaven feels a lot more tacky and feels more like a word than a name in comparison to Haven in my opinion.
