I love the name Linda, and I definitely see it as a usable!

Its usable for sure, but its not really my taste. I like Lindy more. :3

I'm not ready for Linda to come back. There's no magic in this name for me, it's too familiar. I could understand how someone young might see the sparkle in this name, though. It does have a pretty, friendly sound. It would make a very nice middle name.

It's very dated and was overused in its day. Glenda, Melinda, Belinda, Lorinda, and Lindy sound fresher to me.

it's good but doesn't hold a candle to Lydia in my opinion.

It's definitely out of style now. That in itself wouldn't deter me from using it if I really liked it for itself, not just because it isn't popular. I think it's a light, bright, pretty name.

It's my favourite of the Lin and Lyn names: lightly dancing, as pretty as its meaning. Dated, yes, but so much nicer than Sandra for instance. It would be a refreshing change from Lyn, Lynne, Lynette, Lindsay, Lindsey ... I'd be delighted to meet a small one.
